This has been a busy week. Since Tuesday evening, I have put about 340 miles on my car and more than 120 on my mom's minivan. Today holds at least another 40.
In other news, my car needs a tune-up.
Excerpt from an actual conversation with my sister.
Me: So did I tell you what I got for my birthday?
Her: I think the correct answer is, Nothing from me.
My other presents have still not arrived. According to Airborne/DHL package tracking, they've been at the USPS facility in Hunt Valley since Monday. As they were supposed to have been delivered no later than Tuesday, my mom raised Cain with Amazon and got her shipping refunded. If they haven't arrived by close of business today, Amazon will launch an investigation into what happened to the package.

aderick is here. Rather, he's in Frederick at his sister's house. His plane -- which was scheduled to arrive at 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday night -- landed at 12:05 a.m. His luggage finally made it to the baggage claim an hour later.
Mikey is thrilled. He even spent the night over there last night. He is a 6:45 wake-up call. (That's 5:45, San Antonio time.) Mwahahahahahahaha!
Did I get to sleep in this morning? Comparatively, yes; but a total of 6 hours of sleep is not sleeping in. Especially not after just 2.5 hours the night before.
