It's all about priorities.
Mar. 6th, 2005 12:56 amMikey pulled my parents' old Scripture Stories book off the shelf the other night and asked me to read it to him. So I pulled him into my lap, and together we opened it. Inside the front cover is a timeline of the books of the Bible, with illustrations of some of the key players. Mikey pointed to the page.
"Who that?" he asked.
"Adam and Eve."
He pointed again. "Who that?"
"Abraham and Isaac."
As more books cover a shorter timespan, it becomes harder to tell which illustration is supposed to go with which names. "Who that?"
"Um ... I think that's Moses."
One more time. "Who that?"
"Uh. Daniel?"
Mikey perked up immediately. "Daniel from Stargate?"
On the health front, Mikey's fever broke this evening, and his temp was still near normal when he went to bed. We'll see if this holds....
