Bizarre dreams continue. Last night, I had one in which I was on a Jerle Shannara-style airship, but with wings. At this point, I can't remember much more than that; I really should start writing them down when I wake up, though they often seem to dissolve even as I write.
Lately, I'm less annoyed with my hair and more enamored with its length. This is good in the sense that it makes having unmanageable hair bearable, but I hope I get over it by the time I'm ready to chop it off in a few months. Either way, I need to get about four inches taken off the bottom sometime soon.... :p
Do you remember The Big Comfy Couch? They've been broadcasting it on WETA right around lunchtime, and Mikey LOVES it. In fact, the only way I can get him to clean up his toys these days is to say, "HEY! Who made this big mess?" and do a Ten-Second
Tidy with him. :)
I watched The 10th Kingdom last night and today. (I got it on DVD for my birthday last year.) I love that movie. :D Shoot, I'd watch it just for Bluebell the Troll (Terrified throughout the Nine Kingdoms!); the Lovely Shepherdess Competition; "A Whiter Shade of Pale" in the swamp; and the kick I always get at the end ( little spoiler... ) And Wolfie. Always Wolfie. *swoons*
We won't be spending my birthday in Maine this year, though we may celebrate it early with family -- honestly, that suits me just fine. As it was, we were looking at traveling up the previous Wednesday, then driving back on my birthday; as I said to my sister, I can think of about a billion things I'd rather do on my birthday spend twelve hours in a van with four other cranky people. So we'll come back the day before and spend my birthday here.
